This role partners with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and supply chain to drive continuous improvement, support new product introductions, and solve complex production challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Job Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain quality standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with product design and engineering teams to support new product introductions, including process design, prototyping, and validation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct time studies, workflow analyses, and capacity planning to optimize production lines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, implement corrective actions, and provide technical support to production teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with safety standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support automation initiatives and evaluate new manufacturing technologies for feasibility and ROI.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor production metrics and provide data-driven recommendations for process improvements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Minimum Qualifications:<\/strong><ul><li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>3\u20137 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in switchgear, electrical, or industrial equipment manufacturing.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Experience with process design, workflow optimization, and production planning.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Proficiency with CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally.<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Excellent communication and documentation skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Preferred Qualifications:<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with automation, robotics, or smart manufacturing technologies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, CSA, UL, or equivalent).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adaptability and continuous learning mindset<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Analytical thinking and process optimization<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Attention to detail and quality focus<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Effective collaboration and teamwork<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Project management and organizational skills<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"advanced_seo_description":"","jetpack_seo_html_title":"","jetpack_seo_noindex":false,"jetpack_seo_schema_type":""},"categories":[],"tags":[29,27],"class_list":["post-4749","job","type-job","status-publish","hentry","tag-burnaby-bc","tag-full-time"],"acf":[],"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ricpower.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job\/4749","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ricpower.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ricpower.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.ricpower.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=4749"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.ricpower.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=4749"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.ricpower.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=4749"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
